some questions before you start a business

  • whether there is an idea that something needed in the market? 
 You must analyze your business opportunity / idea to see if sold to the people. Do they need the product / service?
  • Is the product or service you will get requests that are durable and constant? 
 Ask yourself again, "How long will consumers need your product or service?" Seasonal products or services such as snowplowing business will only last well into winter. A good business opportunities / ideas is something that people will continue to need until the end of time.
  • Are you unsure if your idea is unique and has no equal? 
This does not mean that your business opportunity or idea should be something that is really something extraordinary. You can explore other areas have tried, but make at least a unique aspect. That way you will set yourself apart from the competition.
  • Whether you can subject your products / services to a competitive price? 
You should be able to set prices competitive with other businesses offering similar products or services.
  • Does your idea fit with your lifestyle?  
If you are the type who wants to travel most of the time the telemarketing business that will require you to put in at least eight hours on the phone will probably not good business opportunity or idea. On the other hand, if your work requires you to meet people at home, you should consider if your place is conducive to the meeting.
